This won't mean anything to any of you who did not grow up in Ireland, but Eugene Lambert and his wonderfully talented family of puppeteers brightened up my childhood immeasurably with their TV program Wanderly Wagon. I had the pleasure of meeting him in Dublin at his puppet theatre just over three years ago after a brilliant performance of Sleeping Beauty. He autographed two posters for my daughter. Go n-éirí an bóthar leat Eugene. |

..yes it does Padraig, any loss is a sad loss. The best part of your recall is the enjoyment it brought to you then and now. The celebration of knowing someone who made a difference in your life will ease the loss...overtime.. |

Sad about this news too. Was a huge Wanderly Wagon fan when I was small, my username is in tribute to Judge the dog from WW. Pulled out my Wanderly Wagon DVD and the kids love it, great to see all the faves again, Mr Crow, Padraig the Horse, Forty Coats, Dr Astro and Sneaky Snake.. |

My daughter was vastly amused that the horse shared my name! |
