This came out a couple of years ago - you can hear it on Youtube, but I haven't found a place where I can purchase a copy. Does anyone on this board have an Mp3 copy of this song that they could share with me???

Also, I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on the cover.

I'm going to reply to my own post and inform everyone that I have now found a copy elsewhere. So I guess I'm just looking for your thoughts.

Here are mine...

In the acoustic dvd accompanying That Striped Sunlight Sound I remember Robert talking about how the Go-Betweens didn't really fit with the other music that was going on in the early-80s and then he said something like all the other music at the time "sounded like clocks." I found that very funny, and apt.

I think this Radio Dept. cover sounds like what Go-Betweens would have been like had they gone the clocks route. I'm glad they didn't, but I still like the cover.
