This came out a couple of years ago - you can hear it on Youtube, but I haven't found a place where I can purchase a copy. Does anyone on this board have an Mp3 copy of this song that they could share with me??? Also, I'd be interested to hear anyone's thoughts on the cover. Thanks! | ||

I'm going to reply to my own post and inform everyone that I have now found a copy elsewhere. So I guess I'm just looking for your thoughts. Here are mine... In the acoustic dvd accompanying That Striped Sunlight Sound I remember Robert talking about how the Go-Betweens didn't really fit with the other music that was going on in the early-80s and then he said something like all the other music at the time "sounded like clocks." I found that very funny, and apt. I think this Radio Dept. cover sounds like what Go-Betweens would have been like had they gone the clocks route. I'm glad they didn't, but I still like the cover. |
