Many of these threads wander on and off topic at various times, so I'm not sure the Go-Betweens Chat/Off Topic distinction is helpful. But it seems that everybody seems to have found the Off Topic section anyway. | ||

Yeah, that distinction seems a bit unnecessary. What if a Go-Betweens chat wanders off topic into, say, a wonderful poitical discourse on Italy? It could be a disaster! | ||

Hmmm...it's a bit petty, me thinks. Like that time, when the label guy suggested contributors should talk about 'Oceans Apart' and not about the older albums. A thread can wander off-topic and then back on-topic. For instance, I could post something about the reaction of my Italian friends to the Go-Betweens! (They think they sound like The Smiths, by the way) Is there a quota of Go-Betweens-related content required in each thread for it to be considered 'on-topic' ? |
