What a great tribute to that photographer! Hope he or she is cleaning up on the royalties. |

Yeah it's by a Guy called Ted Croner from New York in 1947 I think. A similar photo is the cover of Luna's Penthouse album from 1995 from which Hedgehog and this cover were a single. |

I should have realised Modern Times' cover looked familiar. Shows it's been too long since I played Penthouse I think. |

Is Judge a tribute to the wonderful character from Wanderly Wagon? |

It must have slipped through the net. For Love & Theft he stole someone's lyrics. He's stolen another's cover. What's next, advertising ipod's???? |

Bob's already done an ad for Victoria's Secret and is shilling for Apple, so anything's possible. Doesn't he already have enough money? |

He "borrowed" lyrics this time from a 19th century US poet too. |

But the 19th century lyrics are no longer copyright protected, so he's learned his lesson since Love and Theft! I wonder has Vincent Price copyrighted his mustache? ;) Ted Croner, the photographer, only died last year, but 'Taxi, New York Night', the title of the photo on Modern Times, is one of his most well-known shots http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1558836,00.html |

http://youtube.com/watch?v=7wp9wHnfAkU Kurt, the reason I mentioned it is because he already has. He's copying Bono now, he's even got his titfer on. |
