As soon as I saw The Maltese Falcon coming in at only #273, the list stopped making much sense (although a few of the reviews were semi-eye opening).

to put 25 albums of the last 25 years is pretty much hell, but how can anyone put 500 films into a ranking? after 'strolling' through the list i am surprised how many films i have seen in the past.
in any case it's hard to point out the one and only film. kevin's short list could be also mine, but as a peckinpah fan i would also rank the wild bunch, as a ronald klick fan i would name deadlock and/or supermarkt and son on and so on...
