Some time ago i posted a song i had written about Grant just after he died. The response from you guys was none too positive so im taking a bit of a risk here but i thought i should share this with you anyway. The night Grant died I was feeling very low.like a lot of other people. I went upstairs and plugged my guitar in and hit record. what came out was a piece i called 'GM'. I can say it truly portrays how i was feeling but its what came out... anyway. soon afterwards i was approached by a local film graduate who was looking for some music for a film about Irish surfing. I'm not sure why but i sent GM in. maybe it was because of the GB's association with surf and water... they accepted it. So i was at the premier last thursday - wearing my Gobees t shirt - and was very proud to hear my track open up the film.
