Some of you here knew Sean Brady, who used to be the webmaster of the Robert Forster website as well as websites for Orange Juice/Edwyn Collins, Ashtray Boy, and the Cannanes. Sean was a friend of mine. He and I traveled 14 hours together to Robert Forster's "Danger in the Past" show in Arlington, Virginia, and met up many other times to go to record shops in Chicago and his hometown of Columbus, Ohio. I helped him move from Columbus to Indianapolis, and then from Indianapolis to Simi Valley, California. After he moved to California, he dropped out of sight, and I periodically searched the web for info about him. The other day, I searched again and found his obituary from 2013. I've found out that he was experiencing health problems and moved back to Columbus, where he passed away at the young age of 45. Here's a link to his memorial page: http://www.schoedinger.com/obituaries/Se an-Brady/ |

Sad news, indeed. I met Sean via Tallulah, some twenty years ago. I think that I got him into Orange Juice and Edwyn Collins, and he quickly became a dedicated fan. |

Terribly sad news. Sean was a pioneer for Go-Betweens on the web. A true fan and internet trailblazer. My heart goes out to his family and friends. |

Really sad news ... in the nineties I provided Sean with the tour dates for Germany and some other news. His fan website was a major contribution to build up the Robert Forster / Go-Betweens fan base. R.I.P. |
