Tickets for the appearance at Mono in Glasgow last night went from available very shortly to sold out only about a week ago before I could get one. I'm massively underwhelmed by Mono. Someone has posted a couple of songs on youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsDgd-6K ZF8 |

Robert in very good form at The Gutter Bookshop in Dublin this evening with Roisin Dwyer. Bob was surprised to find his shop so full but I suspect that nobody in attendance was too surprised. We were treated to a good hour and a half of interview, Q&A & a handful of songs & snippets to illustrate points on his Guild acoustic guitar. His version of "People Say" was really wonderful & you can see clearly he is as proud of that song at 60 as he was at 21 when it was written. Robert was very generous with his time afterwards staying for signings, chat & photos for almost everyone in attendance it appeared. |
