My cousin is a painter near Perth in WA and a while back she was talking about a good subject for an Australian portrait competition she wanted to enter: "What about Robert Forster of the Go-betweens?" Restrain yourself Stuart. No gloating to your cousin. After all you want to be hosted in Perth sometime soon. Robert does have a very distinctive face which has only become more so with age. I love the patterned fabric effect to his figure. I wonder if that's a regular effect for this artist. |
