Hey, gang, dunno if anyone's noticed, but that "McLennan" t-shirt we were discussing a while back - the one from the tribute concert - has quietly appeared in the GBs online store. Looks nifty. Now we got ourselves uniforms for whenever the Great Transcontinental Board Meet-Up happens!

Thanks to our friendly admin, or whoever supplied the merch.

That, my friend, is cool. Now if we can only get them to deliver to the Colonies...

What else can we manifest? How about a winning Powerball ticket for LK? If I win $250 mill, I promise to fly everybody on the board to Fiji for a surfing trip!

Tread with caution, LK. As I understand it, admin only grants three wishes. And no, you can't use your third wish to ask for three more...

Hey, I'd gladly exhaust one wish for 250 mill and like I said, I'd share the wealth...Hmm, I could probably take everybody to Fiji for oh, $100 K...that'd leave roughly $249 mill and change for CDs, fancy mustards and making my apartment my own mini-Graceland, with red velvet, mirrors, zebra patterned wallpaper, etc.

Hey, LK, you're close to being first to top the magical 1,500-post summit!

I just had a look at the McLennan t-shirt--it really is cool. It sounded cheesy when described, but it's very well done.

Feets don't fail me now!

The shirts are indeed very cool.

I'm waiting for the t-shirt that has the McLennan/Monkees logo on the front and Forster's name rendered in the style of the Foster's beer logo on the back. :-)

I'll probably order one, but my 1st pass at it failed, due to my "doing the math"...15 pounds is $30, give or take...Yowza, pricey.

I'll still probably succumb. It is, after all, a fairly unique item.

It ain't cheap, fer sure, LK. But, hell, you can rest assured you'll be the only one on your block who owns one.

Can't say that about, say, threadless.com.

Price is a bit stiff for sure and add P&P it's 28Euro (about 47Aus Dollars). I'll have to wait for a birthday or next Christmas.

Okay, this is on the down low, because the designs are not quite finalized and we're still in negotiations, but I have plans to market a line of very stylish, Aussie-chic "Forster-Grant" sunglasses...

We expect to sell a lot in Queensland...

Now, if we can just get Nicole Kidman to wear some in public and get her picture taken.

We really need some new archival Go-Betweens releases or something similar to discuss, don't we? We're grasping at straws here in the GoBs chat section.

Kurt, Sorry for my bad ID, the F-F on the back was your idea.

I'd love to see Robert, Glenn and Adele augmented by having Amanda Brown back in the band. I miss her oboe, violin and singing, plus she can play acoustic guitar. What the heck, have dual drummers and get Lindy back as well!

Not to rewind here, but Forster-Grants with striped sunlight protection ... you guys never disappoint, LK and Kurt! Lovely!

And yeah, we probably do need something new to talk about. Hey! Did I mention that new "McLennan" t-shirt?

Forster's ... Australian for the definition of rock

Love those comments about 'striped sunlight protection'. In heaven GMcL has gotta be grinning at that one.

I have ordered my T-shirt now - the epitome of summer vacation wear. Thank you for spreading the news.

I have to admit to an unfortunate McLennan t-shirt related incident. My fortunate and thoughtful fiance was able to attend the tribute show but I was interstate for work, and she picked up a t-shirt each for us. White, red logo, black trim at collar etc. I was very pleased. Wore it once. Put in wash. With a shirt which had a red paper Christmas party ticket in the pocket (obviously not up to checking pockets upon taking it off after party). Hence 2 t-shirts with pink stains all over.
Tried a few things to remove, finally the bleach got rid of the pink stains, and also most of the black in the trim around collar and sleeves. Doh! So if you see someone wandering the streets of Brisvegas wearing and odd looking McLennan t-shirt, that'll probably be me, or Christy.

I got mine today too! Gotta launder it first though. Raw dye and my armpits don't make a happy combo.

My McLennan t-shirt arrived yesterday, on the auspicious date of Mr. McLennan's birthday, here in deep dark Minnesota. Fine feathers indeed!

Well the US Postal Service seems to be working hunky dory at the moment. Must be because the Dems are back in power.

I am not so sure about the photo, LK - maybe in summer when I have lost weight again and can pose in front of a striped sunlight sky

Glad to see there's another Minnesotan here on the site.
There's nothing like listening to that striped sunlight sound while running around Lake Harriet in July.

I went to Minneapolis South High.

Go Tigers!
