As Rowche Rumble plays on the radio at work (the joys of BBC6 Music), I would like to wish MES happy 50th.

Other notable March birthdays - Lou Reed, Evan Dando, Sly Stone, Lightnin Hopkins,Damon Albarn and Willie Nelson

Certainly is: http://www.thefall.info/fallsite/?p=370
He's packed a lot in to his last 30 years though Rob, its the perils of being on the road I suppose. The gig total must be over a 1000 surely.

He's packed a ton in. His work output was the main reason I found his young age surprising. The Fall are one of those bands that seems like it's always been around.

I think the latest Fall album is my all time favourite of theirs. Though, there's many great memories and emotions stirred up each time I dig out the old old classics. I mean how could one not feel like the greatest person in the world whilst listening to Industrial Estate!
