  Not the DJ (no I won't say it!).    But the actor/comedien.    He was a bit of an institution over here, cockney wide-boy type o thing. A real geezaaaarrrr!!!   But was he a diamond geezer Spence?    great clips - thanks.    Speaking of UK children's TV, there was a Saturday morning show on when I lived there in the 80's called Get Fresh which featured Gilbert the Alien - a genius comic creation - surreal and anarchic.   Mr Stella Street indeed! I must admit i missed this. I probably got to the age where I was starting to suffer from late nights out and drink? was this 86 or 87? Mind you I never suffered from hangovers until i was 29! |
