Ther has been no news as to when the Antipodes finest band will actually tour after reforming. I'm wondering if anyone saw the show in Bath and Bristol recently or is going to see the ones in Scotland or the U.S.

I'm not going as its not the originals.

However, if anyone has a minute check http://news.bbc.co.uk/ and the video audio news block with a pic of the red Ferarri, this comedian from the US crashed it and his comments afterwards are hilarious!

They are actually playing another gig in this part of the world, in addition to the Coachella festival, which, because it sounded like a frustrating, sweaty clusterfuck, I was studiously avoiding...

Guess I should try and chase down tickets, if it's not too late. It's in Pomona, CA. If I only knew where in the hell that is...

That was some funny funny stuff, Spence. It was all over the media here - in fact, it happened not too far from where I am. It was, not just any old Ferrari - it happened to be a rare one, in pristine condition, worth something like $1.4 million...

For crissakes, it was a 2002-2004 model! It was just a rich guy's used car! It was a faux collectible like a Roger McGuinn D12-42. All hype.

Do you think it was completely staged? I'm shocked! Actually, there was some debate about that. The photog standing behind the barricade didn't flinch when ole Eddie hit it...

I thought you were posting to tell me what the rap on Pomona is...ever been?

Oh sorry LK. I'm guessing you mean the Pomona Fairgrounds. I've never gone there for a show and have probably only been in Pomona a half dozen times. It's about half the distance for you as compared to Coachella so it's more practical. On the other hand, it's just east of the San Gabriel Valley and very smoggy and hot.

No I don't know whether the crash was staged. I just mean that the car and the media's characterization of it is hype. Fiat Auto made a lot of money off of rich chumps with that model.

Coming to a stadium near you. Genesis, Police, Crowded House. Merchandising stalls will quickly sell out of cardigans, slippers & pipes. So get there early.
