I second those sentiments, Allen. Hard to believe he's quite that old, though I knew he was no spring chicken (or the "last chicken in the shop")...I guess his clever strategy of going gray so early completely clouds the issue. But yeah, great guy, by all accounts, and a great musician. I think I'm gonna have to go crank out a little Basher on the ole soundsystem...maybe a little "So It Goes", a little "Heart of the City"... | ||

Thirded, LK. The Jesus of Cool is one of my all-time faves. Had a chance to see him live once, on "The Impossible Bird" tour, I think, and he was just remarkable. Apparently, he's got a new CD coming out sometime soon. |
