Last week I exchanged a couple of e-mails back and forth with Jane Siberry (a.k.a Issa these days), who will be touring OZ next year. I mentioned she should stop by Rick's, and she asked me if this would be a good venue for her to play.

What do you think? I don't think she will have a full band with her, so maybe another venue that caters to the singer/songwriter, folk and jazz types would be better than Rick's?

Mayb the Troubadour (practically opposite Ric's) in the Valley would be a better venue. Small unassuming place that caters all genres, best for intimate performance, saw Jon Auer and Teddy Thompson there. Both great, small but appreciable crowd.
