Glastonbury weekend is here again, saturation coverage for those of us lucky enough to have bbc2,bbc3 and bbc4. Not sure the acts playing this year are that great, the John Peel stage today looks the best but no doubt those I would like to see wont be televised. I'm 40 next year and wanted to celebrate it with a few days at Glasto, anynone know if its on next year? And if it is, you are allmost welcome to join me in me wellingtons. I'll probably end up sitting in a tent with a bottle of beer and some headphones with the Pale Fountains on or something!! |

Actually, the more I look at the line up this has got to be the weakest Glatonbury in living memory. Although to be honest I always look at other festivals in the UK or US, and in particular the Benacassim (sp?) festival in Barcelona and think that they have much better acts. Glastonbury is more of an "event" for the people that go I suppose, the people going to the other ones are more likely to be going for the actual music. Is anybody actually jealous they arent going to Glastonbury after seeing the bill? |

The lineup certainly doesn't make me want to stand for 72 hours up to my t#ts in mud!! Forecast is for rain, rain and more rain over the weekend. Anyone of interest I've either seen or will see this summer at the Electric Picnic festival, with the exception of The Holdsteady, who are playing the Oxegen festival. (Both in Ireland) I have tickets to both, but with Oz coming up I can only afford to go to one. Arctic Monkeys headlining tonight? If ther's any justice in the world, they'll barely be able to fill the local pub in 12 months time! (Apologies to any Arctic Monkeylovers out there - another case of having reached brain saturation point) |

I heard somewhere there were even cases of Trench Rot at last year's Glastonbury... |
