This is good fun and goes well with the song in a slightly self-concious way. Is the director trying to give the band a bit of a Fleetwood Mac 'let's explore these complex relationships' thing? |

i always thought it was unforgiveably cheezy. to me it was more, let's find goofy, heartwarming ways to highlight the intimate relationship between grant and amanda. however, i do like the scene where lindy is jokingly beating up robert. a bit telling, perhaps, what with their relationship on the outs at that point. |

Are you sure David. I've never seen another video of the song. What is in the second? |

yes, after actually watching the video that comes on the CD, i can confirm that there are at least two different versions that i've seen. but these versions are basically slight variations of the same thing. the video on the CD has a few things that were edited out of the version that comes with the video collection. for example, there's a shot where grant's head is in flames, and another where lindy is rubbing blood all over her face, and then in the next shot she's looking all forlorn into the camera with two black eyes. other than those shots, the videos are pretty much identical. of course, maybe there's a *third* and altogether different version that david nichols is thinking of? *slinks off to corner to combat horrible feelings of inadequacy over possibly not having seen every go-betweens video* |
