ok, this one's got me. you know when you hear an old song that somehow has entirely escaped your vernacular and you mistake it as new? this happened to me last night with melissa etheridge's "similar features". i remarked to my twin sister how much i was enjoying this new song, when she informed me it's the better part of 20 years old and is a radio mainstay. we both found it pretty funny. the exact same thing happened (but in reverse) a few weeks ago with belinda carlisle's "mad about you". also, my flatmate's boyfriend mistook fm's "little lies" for a song by some swedish band released a couple of years ago. i can't be alone in this.... |

Not the same but similar. Have you ever gotten in the car and started off and heard this GREAT song and thought, "WOW who's that?" only to realise that, 2 seconds later, it is one of your own C.D.s! |
