From the Queensland Art Gallery Website" Opening program In the opening days of 'Andy Warhol' an exciting range of programs will be presented for all ages and interests — public programs, films, performances and family activities. All programs during the opening weekend are free, however, visitors need to purchase tickets prior to attending programs held in the 'Andy Warhol' exhibition spaces. Please look for signage on the day for public program venues at GoMA. Public programs will continue throughout the exhibition from December 2007 to March 2008. More details will be available closer to the date. ‘Andy Warhol’ – Robert Forster plays The Velvet Underground 6.30pm-10pm, Saturday 8 December $25 (ticket includes one exhibition entry) (booking fee applies) See the show, experience the music. In a specially commissioned performance, Robert Forster, one of Australia’s most influential songwriters and musicians, will perform songs by The Velvet Underground accompanied by Adele Pickvance (The Go-Betweens), Dylan McCormack (The Polaroids), Susie Patten (I Heart Hiroshima) and Karin Baeumler (Baby You Know).
