Hi guys. I've been cleaning out my closet. I don't have a record player anymore and I want my Go-Betweens albums to go to someone who would appreciate them. I have Tallulah and Liberty Belle, both original releases, both in fabulous condition, both going FREE to a good home. Please don't ask for them if you are going to flog them on Ebay or something. So, if anyone still has ye olde record player, and will look after these records like a true fan, drop me a line. You can pick them up from the Ryde area of Sydney, or I'll post them anywhere if you'll cover the costs. (Hopefully this post doesn't break any rules of etiquette) My email is mcde at optusnet dot com dot au. |

I sent it that time Mark. Maybe it went into your spam? It didn't bounce back. I've forwarded it from my sent file again now. |

If you haven't given them away yet Mark, then can you give them to Lindy Morrison for auction for the Support Act Limited, a charity music benevolent fund looking after musicians who have become ill or fallen on hard times. I ask you because I gave her my Lee Remick single I bought from Grant at the Toowong Music shop when it was first released as a fund raiser for these musicians. I felt it was a good tribute after Grant's passing. It was hoped that there could be a number of other items to auction with it. So Mark and Padraig if you are feeling generous please consider this as an alternative destination for the albums. |

Not sure if they are in the same league as a Lee Remick single bought from the man himself, and definitely not as valuable, but I am happy with them going anywhere they will be appreciated. Padraig responded first, so he can have them and decide on their future. |

My charitable contributions are my own business Michelle, not for public consumption. |

I would like to state that my above post was quite inappropriate given that the albums had been claimed already. I am not sure just what was going through my brain that day. As with some forum posts, my post was made in haste and with little thought and with much regret that I interferred in a transaction between two very lovely people. Pádraig and I are longstanding "email" friends and we share similar political affliations. Indeed, we have been in contact recently and we remain good friends. |
