I was KJ fan and this is sad, a nother young death... Killing Joke bassist Raven dies Paul Raven, bassist with post-punk band Killing Joke, has died of a suspected heart attack aged 46. The Wolverhampton musician's body was found on Saturday in Geneva, Switzerland, where he was recording. Killing Joke had hits including Love Like Blood and Pandemonium, and were covered by Metallica and Foo Fighters. | ||

Sad... I was also a fan. I've recently listened to their last record (Hosanna...) and a sampler of remixed stuff. They remain unbeatable in their intransigent style. | ||

I read about this last night. So sad... and he was so young. I'm a longtime fan of Killing Joke's 80s stuff, and although I haven't kept up with them, the news still comes as a shock. |
