I could be wrong, but I think it's been nearly a week since he's spoken up, and being that he's one of the most consistent posters here, that's a touch unusual. Did I miss the thread where he announced he was off to the Himalayas for the annual Yeti Wrestling tournament?

Kurt's been MIA for a bit, too. Maybe they're both off at one of those Iron John men's empowerment retreats, passing the talking stick around the sweat lodge.

Hey, guys, phone home.

Yo, guys. Sorry to be so incommunicado. I have, in fact, been kicking me some yeti butt, while listening to Hall and Oates and pondering that conflagration thingie, not to mention attending the yearly convention for the National Assoc. of Cross-Dressing Basenji Owners. Those activities, in tandem with my rigorous competitive clog-dancing schedule, have left me busier than a cat covering poop...

Actually, I've had some out-of-town guests and have been fairly wrapped up in visiting and showing them around. And, this week I'm hosting T-giving at my place, cooking a turkey, etc., so I'll probaby be pretty caught up in that, as well. So, praise the Lord and pass the ammo!

Not too much pop culture news to talk about these days, though I will say that anyone who has a movie theater within, say, 50 miles of them, should rush out and go see "No Country For Old Men". Today.

What's this about Kurt, btw? He's been with M.I.A.? Lucky bastard.

LK, what's your turkey technique, dude? I have you for a deep-fry guy. Or do you go all Martha Stewart traditional? I cooked my first turkey last Christmas and it was a hell of a project. Almost turned me vegetarian.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's a case of periodic chatboard burnout on both of their parts. Quite understandable...
