Thank you.

Dunedin is probably as far away from Widnes as it gets!

Cheers

Jon, Prestwick on the West Coast of Scotland for me. It is a cracking little documentary for anyone with an interest in the label.

Wow, Hugh, thanks for this. I just watched a bit; I look forward to taking it all in later.

Chris Knox is a rill piece of work...obviously influential and he contributed his share of good to the label, but also a case study in the limits of purism. Never mind a desert island, I don't think I could make it through a five-minute chance encounter with the bloke - even if he didn't say a word, I'm sure he'd be sizing me up with his eyes, ticking off all the ways I deviated from his ethos...

You said it, Allen. I did think it was funny that he seemed so excited about the #1 record by that last band - what? The Headless Chickens or something? - who sounded like a very average 90s pop/rock band, far from the DIY ethos he talked up so strongly throughout the program.

The doc was entertaining and educational, though. Nice to see Martin Phillips looking so hale and hearty.
