Go Bees... Sheridan Street ? Shield St ? Queen St ? Where are the beaches named at the end of Surfing (live) ? BTW When I read the sleeve notes to 1978 -1990 Grant refers to writing a song in a "Paddington Bedroom". Seriously I thought it was Paddington London, mot knowing that there is another Paddington which I now assume is in Brisbane or Sydney ? |

Paddington is just slightly east of Sydney's city centre Wilson. I think the surfing beaches are all in Qld, but I'm open to correction. I know that when he plays it in Sydney he changed the names to Sydney beaches, including my local (I live on the Northern Beaches). |

There's also a Paddington in Brisbane, quite close to the city. Used to live there in the 70's when it was cheap place for uni students to rent there, now a bit gentrified as real estate prices soar. |

So there is David, I forgot about that one. I'm pretty sure the "Paddington bedroom" referred to above is the Sydney version though. Also, Paddington is just next to Darlinghurst, as in Darlinghurst Nights. Oxford St is the main thoroughfare of both suburbs. |
