He was also great in All That Jazz. How Dustin Hoffman beat him for Best Actor in the lame ass Kramer vs. Kramer still has me scratching my head. Even more astounding, Francis Coppola director of Apocalypse Now lost the Best Director Oscar to Kramer vs. Kramer's Robert Benton. And to top it off, Kramer vs. Kramer was voted Best Picture over Apocalypse Now, the little movie that could Breaking Away, and All that Jazz. I think something was fishy with the ballot box. |
