"A Pair of Brown Eyes"

In blood and death 'neath a screaming sky I lay down on the ground
And the arms and legs of other men were scattered all around
Some cursed some prayed some prayed then cursed then prayed and bled some more
And the only thing that I could see
Was a pair of brown eyes that was looking at me
But when we got back labelled parts one to three
There was no pair of brown eyes waiting for me

Sick Bed of Cuchullan
Old Main Drag
Pair of Brown Eyes
Dirty Old Town

Hell, I should just say Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash in its entirety. Their masterpiece.

A Rainy Night In Soho.

An absolute gem. And the first dance at my wedding. Others I like:

Streams of Whiskey
Misty Morning Albert Bridge
Lorelei
Summer in Siam

It may be a bit cliched but Fairytale of New York deserves a mention.

Rainy Night in Soho is way up there on my list of Poguesongs. Masterpiece that Rum and Sodomy is youre still missing a few essential tracks and thats one of them.
