Haven't watched 'em all, but my fave is the Stones one, they seem to handle their confrontation with the most panache. They don't even stop the song - Keef bashes the dude with his guitar and just goes back to playing like nothing happened....

I once saw JJ Burnel from The Stranglers kick someone back into the audience, though there didn't seem any real malice, it was a weird one, it was kinda like, get off the stage your invading my space, then a quick tap of the foot. Mind you I maybe compeketly wrong, he was a Katarte expert n all!

The the taller guys are not built big, but on the normal to skinny side, like Robert, Mick Fleetwood, Robyn Hitchcock. Nick Drake was pretty thin as well.

What's ironic is that the last Go-Betweens show I attended, back in 2005, holds the distinction as being one of the only shows (if not *the* only show) I've been to where a fist-fight broke out in the crowd during the set. I posted a message here about it the day after it happened, so I won't go into the details again, but it was pretty surreal. Grant's response to the whole thing, which was to sing "If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear flowers in your hair," was classic!

Great story. I guess out of all the GBs, the most likely to kick a little audience ass woulda been Lindy!
