hi all, rather than getting lost within one of our many threads, thought I'd isolate this question, i wondered if it were poss to establish who was going where, as i've not made my mind up yet where to go and see 'the man' in the uk?...and i'd really like to poss met up with peeps from ye olde board. Jon/Frank, you going to Manchester & Lancaster? I was thinking of doing one north of here, say Manc or Lanc and one south, Oxford or London. Tell you, I'd love to see him in NY, now that would be special. I did ask Bob's management for a chance to support the good sir with my group of existentialists, the winnebago mob, however was told that he wasnae having any support, oh well...next time |

I'm definately going to Manchester, if that makes your decision (either way) easier as to which Northern gig you attend. I don't know about Lancaster, I was hoping to make a trip to a German gig, but apathy has hit home. If anyone makes Mcr it would be good to see a few people and talk some rubbish. Cheers Jon |

Hoping to get over to some of the UK shows, aswell as the Dublin one. Make a holiday out of it! It'd be a shame not to cross a few miles of water to see him, when he's travelled so far! |

I've got tickets for London and Oxford. I was going to make the trip oop north for Manchester until I heard about the Oxford gig - and I found out how much the train would cost from Bath (plus accommodation). But if anyone's driving from the Bath/Bristol area and wants company, share of the costs etc I can always change my mind... Spence - 2500 posts - that's scary! |

I will go and represent the board in Lancaster--might go on my own, it seems such an unusual place for him to play and will be quite intimate I think, but iti s a longway north from London, It would be managable for a few northerners |

I'm going to Glasgow and Lancaster. I suspect Lancaster might be quite strange but as my brother lives there I'm going. I went to University in the city and from memory the library is an interesting choice with a capacity of about 200. |

Hi everyone I booked Robert for his Lancaster show. It's a great, although at first glance, unusual venue and witnessed many uber classic shows over the last 3 years. The acoustic is great, the welcome friendly and all the books and olde world library charm will make this gig unmissable. I recommend for all those who want to stand 1 yard from Bob and feel all those old GBs classic seep thru their bones. Cheers. |
