In keeping with this msg board's morbid preoccupation with noting every time a famous person dies, I thought I'd add this. I haven't read nearly as much of his work as I should, but I've certainly read enough to know that this is a big loss for the literary world. | ||

Likewise...I've read one collection of essays and pieces of Infinite Jest (it works pretty well as one of those you can just open anywhere and start reading) and have enjoyed what I've read. I'd also say that personally I think it's less morbid than it is giving them a little honor in their passing. Hey we didn't even mention the guy from Pink Floyd... |
