Thanks Michael. The Annandale is a great venue. I don't know much of his stuff though so I probably won't be going myself. |

Padraig, I saw them a couple of years ago and they put on a great show touring the previous album, Ole! Tarantula. I even got to talk to Peter Buck after the show. The Venus 3 is the current R.E.M. minus Stipe and Mills. Goodnight, Oslo is even better then OT from all acounts, although my copy won't arrive for another month. |

Thanks for that link, Michael. There is at least one other song from the same show as well (Kingdom of Love). Hitchcock is obviously an entertaining stage character. I'm sure the REM folks have been enjoying the opportunity to perform actual songs. |

I have only ever heard a handful of Robyn's stuff, years ago, and more recently thanks to Randy, I find a really strong correlation to The Jazz butcher, the look, the Syd barett touch, he English quirkiness in both their songwriting, quite uncanny how similar these fellows are IMHO. Like the clip by the way Michael. |
