I just caught Beachfield, Glenn Thompson's band playing in Melbourne on Saturday night. Just Glenn on acoustic guitar and another guy on electric. Was very low key, very poppy and a really disappointing crowd - if you can call 35 people a crowd. Has anyone heard much of his CD? It got quite a generous (short) review in NME. |

JEEEEEEEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ You guys are SO onto stuff quickly!!! I just have heard, for the second time, a song by Beachfield on Sydney mainstream radio (702). Sounds very Rockpile to me but good. |

I got the CD, and really liked it: I still play it all the time now. I hope they do another album. |
