Flicking through the new issue of Uncut you could be forgiven for thinking you had been transported back in time to the dawn of the 80's. There were features and album reviews for PIL, Dexys and The dBs. There were Monochrome Set and Nightingales albums reviewed, and even a solo album from Paul Buchanan from The Blue Nile.
Its only a matter of time before Johnny picks up the phone to Morrissey!

I'm sure Morrissey and Marr will eventually patch up their differences ($) but whether New Smiths will include Joyce and Rourke is the question.

Marr has said in the past that he refuses to do it without Joyce and Rourke. But being offered large sums of money sometimes changes peoples' minds. I personally don't think it would be right to do it without Joyce (the one most likely to not be asked back due to his successful lawsuit against Morrissey), but that wouldn't stop me from seeing them.
