I dreamt about a new RF song last night: it started off fast and snappy like something from Warm Nights and then suddenly shifted into a slow, lyrical bit with what sounded like steel guitar & cello accompaniment where he was singing rather plaintively about the “sun shining on Spanish leather”… at which point, thinking, that’s very good, I woke up, with a smile on my face… | ||

In the last Mojo there is a brief piece about the recording of the new album ("more melodic and poppier" and maybe called "Songs To Play"). But also mention of a tour ! "I'm going on the rock'n'roll highway". Could there be at least one date in France please Robert ? My village hall is available and the acoustics are good. | ||
