I enjoyed reading this interview very much. I didn't realize that "On My Block" was a co-write though I guess I should have since Grant sings on it. I just assumed it was Robert's song all the way. I like Robert's suggestion of it as another generation's "In My Room."

It's interesting what Robert says about Grant being a great riff-master. I suppose that makes sense since he started out playing bass and a lot of the time that's what a bass part will be--a big fat riff. But after Grant moved to guitar I always thought of Robert as the one to provide the interesting guitar arrangements based on his songs such as "Man 'O Sand" or "You've Never Lived" or "Jack Kerouac." Maybe that guitar work was all Grant taking advantage of the fact that he wouldn't have to sing on those songs!
