Lovely setting, Friends Meeting House in Oxford. A hushed audience, Robert walks on says he is going to deliver a talk on anthropology.
Great set followed most of StP except And I Knew (my favourite) and Rain. Spirit, House Jack Built, 121, Rock and roll friend and Clouds amongst many highlights. Long drive to/from Brighton worth it although traffic meant we did n't make the pub. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Thought he was on great form. A great rock'n'roll performance in one of the least rock'n'roll venues ever - very intimate, good acoustics and very warm!

And a singalong version of Surfing Magazines...

"Da da da da da-ah" etc!

Thought he's been practising the guitar too - as he seemed better than I remember...

Couldn't agree more. Worth the trip from Bristol.
