Really good show from Robert in Auckland last night. Starting with Dive for your Memory as a tribute to Leonard Cohen (he said he doesn't often play this one any more) he played a wide range of his own songs before finishing up with Cattle and Cane after 90 minutes. On the way through were songs from all eras, the newer songs sitting nicely with the oldies (including his Mum's favourite People Say). Great to have Robert here - a fun show from a warm and engaging man. Ready for another album now! | ||
