This has been on Ebay for at least six months. A couple of times he has reduced it to $75, but there still has been no taker. Maybe the uncertainty of the plague is making people think harder about spending $100 for a five song tape. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/G-W-McLENNAN -live-last-monday-27-5-91-RARE-AUSSIE-PR OMO-CASSETTE-GO-BETWEENS/163619573530?ha sh=item26187c8f1a:g:6NAAAOSwuXxcm-W0 If anyone from a record label is reading this, how about giving this a first ever non-cassette release? On the assumption that the rest of the show was also recorded, how about a full album edition of Live Last Monday? I wouldn't pay $100 for a CD, but I reckon I could stretch to $20. |

Pádraig, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't be alone in parting with money for that. Considering I've bought both the G Stand for Go-Betweens box sets for serious money, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, I think there would be a market... After all, we may be a bunch of sad obsessives... but on the plus side, we're a bunch of sad obsessives! |

I have that tape and I wouldn't dream of selling it even though I don't even have a cassette recorder as part of my hi-fi set up any more (it's in a drawer so I can access it if I need to). It would definitely be nice to have a CD version. |
