Was just thinking back over the years of GB things on ebay and elsewhere that got away.

1. Before Hollywood Aus promo poster - very cheesey with a pile of books stuck in it to leave us in no doubt that we're dealing with literary types. It had a certain charm though and I regret not bidding.

2. Send me a Lullaby Aus Tour coloured poster from 82 - a kind of collage thing with bits and bobs borrowed from the 'Your turn, my turn' sleeve. Another ebay listing that got away.

3. Liberty Belle and the Black Diamond Express promo poster. This one from the peak in the band's lifecycle imho. Great black and white poster with portraits of each band member. You can see this one hanging on the wall in the Lindy Morrison Insurance Advertisment here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=68CnsqpQ O38

4. Missing link promo photo of RF, GW and Lindy hanging out in the fallen branches of a tree. This one's in David Nichols book. I've collected a lot of promo photos over the years. I hesitated and lost out on this one.

5. When I started looking at ebay back in 97/98, there was a copy of Lee Remick and People Say listed for $50 and $30 Aus dollars respectively. Seems cheap now, but I didn't have a credit card or paypal at the time so couldn't bid.

6. The one piece of really odd memorabilia that I do have, is a record company promo 16 Lovers' Lane Silver Spoon. I've never seen another one for sale so I don't use it for breakfast.

These are the ones that got away.
