Thanks for this article link, Pádraig. It's probably been noticed on here that I'm a big fan of Lindy Morrison, in spite of how difficult she can be. Maybe it's partially because of how difficult she can be. I didn't know that Lindy spent most of her prime adult years working to support musicians as a profession in Australia. That was a brilliant choice on her part if she wasn't going to perform herself. The wear and tear of a typically unstable pop music career is extreme. Just looking in Australia alone, the gradual self-destruction of the Easybeats' lead singer Stevie Wright, originally a big star who also enjoyed some big career successes after the demise of that band, is a classic and depressing example. Another, of course, is David McComb. The idea of Lindy working with Robert Lloyd sounds fiendishly perfect to me. Those two people seem like such similar personalities I wonder how long you can lock them in the same room without them going crazy. |

It was a joy to see her playing with Rob Snarski a few months ago. She’s definitely got a thing for musicians called Robert. |

And more recently, she's onstage with The Girl with the Replaceable Head, here augmented by Tuffy Hughes from Hurrah! on lead vocals in a cover of "Apology Accepted." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=apG7JZJ5 98k |
