Hi New here so please be kind.;-) Does anyone know the chords for the chorus, and the Middle 8 come to that, to Bachelor Kisses. Verse is easy and sounds just right but can't nail the rest of it. Anyone any idea? |

Hello, Dave! Welcome to the Go-B's board! There is a guitar tab for this wonderful song at the Go-Betweens website; here is the link. If I remember the German term 'moll' means 'minor' <a href="http://www.jturner.dircon.co.uk/tab_bach elorkisses.htm">Bachelor Kisses</a> I spruce up that bridge a tiny bit when strumming: C.... D (with open string instead of F#)... G.... Am7 (with G instead of open E string)... C (with G as above).... D (with G as above)... G (with added C, then open B string, then added C, then added D)... Am7 (normal, then open B string, then normal, then added D). Love this song.... only trouble is I gave up rock and pop music for Lent because it's just too catchy, especially the Go-Betweens. Again - welcome to the board. Elizabeth |

Thanks for the warm welcome Elizabeth. Do me a favour. Cut and paste the link at the top on the front page of the guitar tabs board. It brings up the list and the first song is Caroline and I. Click on the tabs bit on the front page of the actual site and hey presto the list appears with BK at the top. Weird So I feel like a bit of a prat for asking when it was there but your amendments above make it sound better and they weren't there. Thanks, I owe you one! Talking of which there are quite a few songs which I CAN play which aren't on (either!) list. |

Welcome, Dave! And I know what you mean--a number of the really easy songs ("Karen," "Lee Remick," "Apology Accepted," etc.) that I've managed to work out aren't there, which I guess means they're so easy it would be patronizing to tab them. Hey, you musically astute types (unlike me, a monkey who knows a few chords), what on earth does Bmoll in "Bachelor Kisses" mean? B minor what now? |

Super Easy? Apology accepted is just a bar of G, a bar of Am and two bars of C (you fiddle with the C chord a little on the second bar depending on whether it's the instrumental bit, verse or chorus) Those three chords played straight will give you a workable version for singing along to regardless of the small embelishments. Karen is Dm to C all the way with 2 bars of F then G before the chorus Lee Remick is more than super easy. So is Make her Day I was always really proud of the fact that I had figured out Dive for your Memory esp the 6th position Eflat maj 7 but see i've been beaten to that! |

Does a tab of the solo exist? |
