Hey, my band is going to cover the clock. I'm a relative beginner on guitar - can anyone help me with chords/tabs? |

I'd be happy to help Chris, but I'm busy till next Wednesday. To get you started, the opening riff is just 9th to 7th fret on the low E string. The verse chords I'm not too sure of, but I think Robert or Grant play's a C# bar chord in the 9th fret position (with the high E string and B string left open), removing the first finger off the 9th fret on the low E, playing the open low E with the rest of the C# chord intermittently. "Sometimes the nighttime..." bit: F#min (at 9th fret on A-string), E (at 7th fret, A-string), D (5th fret). Chorus: A (with open B and high-E strings), E, F#min (with open B and high-E strings), Bmin. Not very thorough, sorry Chris, but if you're still having trouble I will get around to a proper tab for you. Maybe Michael or someone can help you out, though. |

Hi Chris, I posted a guitar tab for the Clock a few years back. The tab can be found at: http://www.ozmusic-central.com.au/oztabs/ghi/gobetweens_the/The%20Clock.txt Cheers, Zach Alexakos |
