Wow, just got the new double CD reissue of Preflyte with Columbia Rehearsal Demo Reel (previously unissued in any form according to the sleeve) , contains really nice version of Everybody's Been Burned and absolutely STUNNING version of She's The Kind of Girl with just acoustic guitar and vocal (so is EBB). you heard this Kev and GC fans? If not beg borrow steal etc

I was unaware of this release James. Its on Spotify so will listen later. Had a quick listen to She's The Kind of Girl, and yes it is stunning.

Thanks for the info, Cosmo and Andreas. After reading Clark's biography, it's become clear that there are a lot of orphan recordings of Gene Clark as he started and then stopped one project after another. I hope they keep trickling out. I'm still waiting for another song or two from the sessions he did with Leon Russell for what might have been his second solo album. I'm guessing the acoustic demos you're talking about Cosmo will be something like the great acoustic demo of Clark doing "So You Say You Lost Your Baby" from his first solo album.
