3. Cher Lloyd – "Superhero"
4. Standard Fare – "Girlfriend"
5. GRMLN – "Coral"
6. Alpaca Sports – "I Was Running"
7. Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti – "Only In My Dreams"
8. Ke$ha – "Die Young"
9. Lena – "Stardust"
10. Macklemore – "Thrift Shop"
11. Qu Wanting – "Jar Of Love"
12. Lower Dens – "Brains"
13. B.o.B – "So Good"
14. Guided By Voices – "Class Clown Spots a UFO"
15. Young Man – "Fate 2"
16. Woods – "Cali in a Cup"
17. Dry the River – "New Ceremony"
18. Magnetic Fields – "Andrew in Drag"
19. Miike Snow – "God Help This Divorce"
20. Trey Songz – "Heart Attack" (guilty pleasure—this song is terrible!)

Hey Greg,
Spotify launched in Ireland last month so I'll test it's limits with your soundtrack to 2012 as I know little from your list ;-)

It's a pretty bizarre mixture of indie and global Top 40.

Padraig,
Will be checking out your selection, winter people/bert/boulet all new to me and I had no idea foxton/Womack/Hal had released anything this year or the last several!
Bruce played on Wellars new one too I gather, heard a few tracks from it on local radio and would never have guessed it was him, pretty experimental given his first few solo releases.
Is Buckler playing with Foxton on his current tour, think I read Cosmo was going to see him soon?
See Wellars old mucker Mick Talbot did some fine work on a great Dexy's album this year too.

Peter, Winter People, Jill Birt and Jonathan Boulet are all Australian. Jill Birt was/is in The Triffids. Weller is on one track on the Foxton album, and Foxton was on one track on the last (not current) Weller album. I saw Mick Talbot play with Dexys recently. Great show.

Michael, the album is called The Stars Are Indifferent to Astronomy and it is a brilliant power pop record. Try to get the double disc version if you can.
