They have "done a Radiohead" and just sprung it on everybody!

Listened to the first two songs and its as if Kevin Shields had been frozen 30 years ago, was woken up and recorded a new album. Because it sounds exactly like the follow up to Loveless would sound. Too early to say if this is a good thing or a bad thing, hopefully the former.

Just down loading it now Kev. Looking forward to seeing them at Hammersmith next month.

Enjoying the Shonen Knife cover of When You Sleep and just discovered that Yellow Loveless is a Japanese compilation cover of the album - sounds intriguing!

After living with this for 3 or 4 days I absolutely love it. The guitars are off the scale on several songs and, yes, its not a massive left turn from Loveless but after all this is only their 3rd album and its not like they've been endlessly repeating it for 20 plus years.

Only Tomorrow, New You and Wonder 2 are future MBV classics, and She Found Now and In Another Way are not too far behind.
