Yeah, plus some things I can't see anybody seriously considering such as the Saints' "All Fools Day." It's not a terrible record but it's far from their best and therefore not a candidate to be best of the year by any means. I pulled the lever for "Liberty Belle" but there might be some days when I'd say "Born Sandy Devotional" instead. On balance, though, I think it wins by being the product of two great songwriters rather than one. |
