I noticed the Melbourne band The Twerps were playing a small European tour this month. Noticed on this messageboard that Roberts son's band listed them as an influence along with the Feelies of whome they have some resemblance. Anyway I noticed they were playing Manchester UK at The Eagle Inn on the 17May15 a venue I haven't been to but apparently it has only an 80 capacity. I thought they might have sold out straight away but still 20 tickets available according to the ticket sites. Also playing two venues in London although one appears to be sold out. Watch them perform at SXSW last March or the more recent KEXP session both on youtube. |
