Ducks Ltd. - Modern Fiction, debut album from two Toronto lads whose songs are not shy about showing their influences from Brisbane and Dunedin bands loved by us. And McCarthy. https://ducksltdband.bandcamp.com/album/ modern-fiction

Whipping Boy - Heartworm. A brilliant remastering job. I’m hearing things I’d never properly noticed before.

Hernan Martinez y las Estrellas - Revolucion de verano

Released in 2011 the core of this album's inspiration must come from Dunedin but there is a nod to Japanese pop and, not surprisingly, the classic Spanish indie rock band Los Planetas.

Be aware that the links intended to send you to each song do not work correctly. The poster should have used the cumulative time marks as the start points for each song. If you are curious but don't have time to hear the entire 42 minute album, grab the red ball on the streaming bar and move it to wherever you want.

Snow Coloured Kid

A 2007 EP from the late lamented Anorak Records. I can only find live videos which don't convey the charm.

Palatine -- Baton Rouge EP

This six song EP from 2016 is superb. As I said in response to Stuart's post of the song that introduced them to me, they sound like a better Antony & the Johnstons. The French do atmosphere much better than the Americans.

Well, that's good to know! I thought that song might be a bit of a one-off. I'd better get on with checking them out myself, now!

Stuart judge for yourself. From that EP predating by two years your original track:

Be patient. Palatine like to take their time. This usually jittery pop lover never objected in the slightest.

Born To Choose, a 1993 charity compilation featuring REM, Sugar, Lucinda Williams etc. I bought the CD yesterday. I bought the cassette when it came out 28 years ago. Reading the sleeve notes it struck me that all the charity address contact details are phone numbers and street addresses. Now, of course, only websites would be listed. Great compilation.
