As unlikely as it sound the Go-Betweens are listed as one of the specialist subjects on this week's Mastermind on BBC2 on Tuesday evening(let's hope it's not the book!) Post your honest scores here!

I hope one of the questions is 'Is Tallulah any good?' Answer: Yes, no, er maybe, only the remix, except for Cut It Out, pass etc etc

If one of the questions is 'who was the best drummer for the G-Bs?' then I guess we're in real trouble.

Definetely band, not book

From the Mastermind website, description of tonights subjects

"The Go Betweens.
Where did this cult band of the Eighties come from?"

I have just realised that I will not see the programme here in Scotland (damn). BBC Scotland are showing Celtic playing a Champions league football tie. Oh well, c'est la vie

Mastermind is over baking it a bit imho, I think a Trivial Pursuit entry would be more appropriate.
I'm reading 'my magpie eyes are hungry for the prize' - story of creation records book and it describes Lindy playing a gig with Joe Foster, glasses flying and someone being hit with a shoe. Ah, those were the days ..... not!

Kevin, that's easy, it's Brisbane.
If that's an example of the questions, I could go on there.
Also if this contestant wins will he/she pick another cult '80's band in the next round, Orange Juice, anyone.

hold on fsh, there were more than shoes flying when I gigged with Joe Foster. There was nothing wrong with those days. They were very exciting, ok stupid and silly and mad but at least we were living. I can't believe that anyone would even know about that stuff. RF wrote Little Joe about Joe Foster. There is a lot of fun around those gigs. Many stories. And I went on the road with Nikki Sudden (cmon help me now what was his name)
Peter Collins you are truely very amusing. Thanks.

My mate Steev was big mates with the Swell Maps, a really and truly innovative and totally ignored band. He did tell me his real name once, but I've forgotten what it is. So, Lindy, how many did you score?
