Does anyone know of any basic cd burning software where the recording levels can be adjusted. This would be great for making compilations (and of course for correcting Spring Hill Fair). Cheers.

ITunes is good for adjusting individual tracks sound levels and it's free.

There's probably an easier and better (and cheaper) way, but I sometimes import WAV files copied on to my computer from CDs into Cakewalk Guitar Tracks, a fairly inexpensive multi-track recording program. I can increase (or decrease) the volume level in Cakewalk and then resave the WAV file, making it better match the volume level of the other tracks I'm compiling with it.
