The site was down yesterday and everything from a few days before that has disappeared. Conspiracy theory anyone?

Just got a message about this. Apologies - I hadn't been aware that the site was down, or that threads are now missing.

I have backup copies of all posts so should be able to re-instate the missing ones.

Could anyone who has found the site down at any point over the last week email me with the date and time that they had problems? Thanks.

I've temporarily closed the site for new postings, to make it easier for me to check & fix this.

Jonathan

Thanks to all who've mailed me with info on any problems they've had with accessing the site over the last week. That information has fitted the story from the webspace provider - that the server died midweek, and data was loaded on to a new server from a backup made on 24th September. Hence the loss of posts made between the 24th and the 27th September.

I've restored all the posts that were missing from my own backups - the service provider indicated that they would be able to extract the missing data from the old server, but that hasn't happened so I've just done it manually.

Hopefully everyhing is present & correct and working OK. Let me know if there are still any problems.

Thanks,

Jonathan
